Liberty Portfolio Manager - New York Metro

Description
Responsible for achieving predetermined brand volume, distribution and revenue objectives for the Liberty Wine Selections portfolio.
+ Educate and consult with New York metro restaurants and retail stores in order to grow accounts sold, distribution and cases for Liberty brands.
+ Assist and educate Southern Glazers sales force to gain distribution in key Metro New York Wine accounts both on and off premise.
+ Manage time and resources to obtain disproportionate share of mind for Liberty brands with the Southern Glazer sales representatives.
+ Responsible for key performance metrics such as daily account presentations, regular market surveys, sales focus weeks, and trade development activities to improve sales.
+ Daily travel to customer sites with moderate demand for moving and lifting product(s).
+ Strong expectation for account call frequency and timely response on projects, surveys, and required reporting.
Qualifications
+ Bacholers degree Preferred
+ Knowledge of viticulture and vinification processes for both Old and New World Wineries.
+ Ability to taste, analyze, and discuss wine in-depth with clients.
+ Qualified individuals will demonstrate strong consultative sales skills with superior management and influencing abilities.
+ Excellent time management skills necessary.
+ Ability to work with MS- office systems.
+ Individuals should possess a strong combination of sales skills, wine knowledge and business acumen.
+ Strong analytical skills and problem solving ability as well as an outstanding aptitude for program management and budget execution.
+ World class customer service skills
+ High level organizational and record keeping skills.
+ Dynamic personality with positive attitude.
+ Team player that works well with a variety of personality types.
+ Two years prior experience with wine distributor or supplier.
+ Wine certification such as Court of Master?s or WSET preferred.
