Trade Development Coordinator - Multicultural

The Multicultural Trade Development Manager develops positive working relationships with local & regional multicultural consumers, community organizations, on & off-premise trade and key suppliers across multiple markets within an assigned territory.This role will also support the local sales organization with volume driving marketing programs targeting Hispanic, African American, Asian and LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender) consumer groups. Duties and Responsibilities Manage and execute local marketing programs and brand funded investments within the assigned territory Responsible for maintaining the multicultural on-premise and off-premise account universe for all key consumer demographic groups and generate program specific account selection, as needed Present multicultural programs to sales leadership and local sales teams and provide consultations on internal communication and account execution Support local sales reps in targeted multicultural accounts including, but not limited to, assisting with new product and menu placements, identifying new opportunities, building relationships with key decision makers and visiting accounts during evenings and key consumer time periods Work with local sales reps to present programs at the account level including staff training Responsible for identifying and evaluating new multicultural account opportunities Responsible for developing relationships with local multicultural community organizations Manage local marketing dollars; accountable for negotiating valuable ad hoc opportunities and ensuring accuracy with all vendor invoice submissions Manage POS inventories Provide account and date detail requests for managed bar nights and retail samplings Provide pre-program overviews and post-program summaries on local program execution Prepare, contribute and present at the quarterly general sales meetings Attend weekly sales meetings and provides multicultural programming updates Activate incentive and volume-driving programs as requested by sales leadership Work closely with Trade Development and Portfolio Development teams to consult on local multicultural POS and other direct selling tools Work with portfolio marketing teams when working with local media to leverage any media added-value opportunities Maintain line of sight to company measurement tools (i.e., sales goals) Support sales counterparts to achieve volume and National Execution Calendar Perform other job related duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience or equivalent education and related experience Proven sales and/or service industry experience Preferred Qualifications Proven track record of delivering success, including on-premise and off-premise experience Experience with communicating and leading with a multicultural workforce and customer base Knowledge of a wide variety of sales tools and how to use new/emerging technologies for sales purposes Experience in developing strategic programs, managing events an advantage Strong communication skills - written, verbal, persuasion, motivation, facilitation of strong working relationships Knowledge of other MS Office Suite and/or software applications related to job functions Excellent interpersonal, customer service, analytical/problem solving, problem management, presentation development, presentation, and communications skills Ability to travel overnight within region, approximately 50% Strong organizational, time management, planning, prioritization and follow up skills to manage multiple assigned projects simultaneously Fully bilingual in Spanish (speak and write) Industry knowledge a plus Physical Demands Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 15lbs Job ID SYO00000277

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
