Telehealth Support Associate

Job Description Performs diversified duties supporting the operational needs of the Telehealth Program. Provides clerical support to the Telehealth clinical care team.

1.Information resource (e.g. Telehealth and Telepsychiatry Hub operating hours and Sites, etc.)
2.Accesses and retrieves patient data from hospital system and enters required information in department computer system.
3.Phone and fax correspondence as needed (incoming calls, outgoing calls, send and receive fax)
4.Performs handoff procedures according to department policy.
5.Provides administrative support to the clinical care team (i.e. reception duties, typing correspondence, filing, etc.)
6.Answers telephone, take messages, and directs calls within department.
7.Maintains various unit records. Gathers and prepares statistical data, as required.
8.eMail correspondence as needed.
9.Management of Tracking Boards
10.Performs related duties, as required.
ADA Essential Functions

Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent, required. College preferred.
Administrative experience in clinical setting, preferred.
Advanced knowledge of PC applications, required.
Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, required.
Ability to communicate effectively.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
