Price Coordinator


Requires an energetic individual with a good memory for numbers needed to maintain and update correct pricing in an active supermarket to ensure Price Integrity. Requires monitoring of shelf price labels, computer price records, sale tag, and signs for date sensitive pricing. Must communicate well to coordinate issues with headquarters for pricing accuracy. Basic computer skill will be helpful, but is not a requirement. This is a Full Time position (40 hours, 5 days a week). Flexible schedule is a must with Thursday night and Friday morning mandatory.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: (Essential Duties and Responsibilities)

  • Review and separate price tags as they arrive at store

  • Hang sales tags in accordance with weekly sales program

  • Remove expired shelf tags and replace with updated tags

  • Hang all sale signs

  • Update new items

  • Print tags when necessary

  • Order new tags utilizing a hand held scan gun

  • Make price changes after approval from Store Team Leader

  • Manually price products with the use of a label gun

  • Verify accuracy of sale signs and tags to the weekly sales flyer

  • Review shelf tags section by section and replace as needed to maintain pricing integrity

  • Verify coordinated pricing between product label, shelf tag, and cash registers

  • Manually apply or remove price labels on product where needed

  • Communicate to headquarters MIS division by phone and/or computer

  • Correct any pricing discrepancies

  • Follow test scan calendar as outlined by Center Store Specialist

Minimum Age:

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
