Job Description
As the Quality Management Supervisor, you will implement the philosophy, goals and objectives of the health system by participating in the planning and coordinating of the hospital's Quality Management Program. You will provide information and support to medical staff, hospital departments, and committees in conducting Quality Management monitoring and reviewing activities.
Responsibilities include :
+ Coordinates and participates in daily activities related to analyzing, reviewing and evaluating medical records, certifying medical necessity and appropriateness of Hospital admission, evaluating for justification of continued stay and making referrals as necessary.
+ Supervises, hires, trains, disciplines and evaluates the performance of staff. Ensures performance appraisals are completed in a timely manner.
+ Provides technical assistance to medical staff, Hospital departments and committees to ensure appropriateness of Quality Management review activities in accordance with all required standards, policies, regulations and mandates.
+ Assists in the development, implementation and maintenance of hospital-wide Performance Improvement Program and specific program/service indicators, measures and data collection.
+ Assists in the education of Hospital staff regarding Quality Management regulations and processes.
+ Bachelors Degree in Nursing, Required. Master's Degree in Nursing,preferred.
+ Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
+ Minimum of three (3) years nursing experience in quality management and leadership, including previous supervisory experience.
+ Knowledge of third party payers, State and Federal regulations, preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
