30p Answers and routes calls received by the Hospital's main telephone number.
Operates the PBX telephone console.
Performs miscellaneous clerical duties.
Job Responsibility Answers and routes calls received by the main Hospital telephone number.
Provides patient room and visiting hours information assistance to callers.
Pages authorized personnel overhead and/or on paging system.
Monitors all emergency alarms and dispatches appropriate response teams.
Maintains appropriate logs and records.
Provides access to telephonic interpreter services for callers with limited English proficiency Performs related duties, as required.
ADA Essential Functions Job Qualification High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
Ability to work additional shifts, as needed.
Gracious manners, pleasant speaking voice, calm demeanor and the ability to work under stress.
