Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a Senior Mechanical/Project Engineer to join our dynamic MEP Group in our Syosset, LI Office. Strong Healthcare Experience Required. Responsibilities Field survey of existing mechanical, fire protection, and plumbing systems Design of mechanical systems for the built environment for healthcare projects as well as institutional and educational facilities Preparation of construction documents including drawings, specifications, calculations, and details Serve as Project Mechanical Engineer leading the mechanical discipline as well as provide guidance to other disciplines for mechanically driven projects Approval of mechanical submittals and aid in RFI responses during construction administration Perform quality reviews of select mechanical designs Qualifications 12
years of relevant mechanical engineering experience Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program Professional Engineering required Intimate knowledge of New York City & NYS Building Codes Able to meet strict deadlines and work well under pressure and work on several projects at once Strong communication skills and project level leadership skills with clients and team Experienced in engineering and design computer software to complete assigned projects which include AutoCad and Revit
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Mechanical EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
